I was once a papa's girl...a self-proclaimed PAPA'S GIRL!=)
When he's still around I live like a PRINCESS!That time, i believe that what MEYN wants MEYN gets, and it's true (that time=)! Whatever i asked for, he will give it to me. Simple things that makes me happy (cellphone, clothes, accessories, toys...what else could you ask for).
We used to escape from my mama and kuya's. We went to malls and all i have to do is stay in the fitting room and wait for the clothes he choses. SHOP 'TILL I DROP!!
We used to watch movies together without my mama knowing it.
We used to attend mass every Sunday. After mass, bonding with the whole family wherever our car took us(out of towns or around the area). And of course I won't go home without buying anything! Such a spoiled BRAT!
I remember one time, I wanted to join my cousin's swimming party. Papa didn't allow me to join (that time I think I was only 12 or 13)...I cried the whole night, He did everything to stop me but I didn't. So he decided that we are just going to follow them the next morning. I stop crying and told him no need!I moved on already(HAHA!)
Another instance, when I was in grade school, my friends pick me up because we have a swimming bonding somewhere in Bulacan (imagine I was only in grade school)! Of course
he didn't allow me again. That time crying is no longer effective to him so what i did was I didn't talk to him the whole day (another bratinela move). The next morning we all went to the beach!HAHA successful!
When the time cellphone craze hits our country, of course I was one of those people who will do everything just to have it. So I told my papa that I want one, after a couple of weeks I already have it. Not a high-end phone but at least I have.
That time the evolution of cellphone became so fast, here comes the 5110 which my friends already had. For me to be able to have it, I didn't use the phone he gave me. I just left it in the room to the point that I can't find it anymore. I was so scared because I knew that Papa will surely get mad. He went home carrying a box. I didn't know what to say or do because he might find out what happened to my phone. He gave me the box and guess what... It was a Nokia 5110!=))
Before, I didn't appreciate all those things...but now I'm badly missing it!=(
How I wish I became the perfect daughter he always dreamed of.. I knew it's a bit too late but I'm doing everything to be the best daughter that he will be proud of!
MISSYOU PA!...SOOOOO MUCH!!!=(
